Hometown restaurant with hometown flavor and hospitality. Great food and the people are really nice. The place has been in business for 50 years so you know it's good. Poboys, burgers, hotdogs, box lunches , salads , they have it all. Check it out. You'll be glad you did.
We come from Augusta Ga. several times a year to visit relatives in Bogalousa. We have to go to Zesto's several times before we go back to Georgia. We also take some for the trip back and to take some to friends back home. We tried almost everything on the menu it's all great.We never got anything that wasn't great to eat.Getting ready to go to Zesto's right now for chili buns.
Where do I start? The oyster boxes, catfish boxes, chicken liver or gizzard boxes, or those delicious roast beef POboys? All of the above! There has never been a time when I haven't enjoyed my freshly prepared meal from Zesto. It is my go-to place for call ahead orders when I'm in a rush. The prices are great for the value of the food. My only complaints are that they only accept cash payments and that I've been met with a bad attitude from the woman who helped me over the phone and at the window. Otherwise everything is great and I would give a 5 star review if Zesto got a credit/debit machine and improved the attitude of some of their employees. I highly recommend Zesto for anyone looking for a great call ahead or window order meal, just remember to bring your cash and be sure to repeat how you like your items fixed/dressed more than twice because if they make a mistake it's your fault...
The best roast beef poboys around. Large portions. For me, one sandwich is enough for two meals.
